We are pleased to announce a new edition to our talent roster. Steven Boardman is a London based Sound Designer, Engineer and Recordist with 30 years of experience. He is quickly becoming known for his ‘psychoacoustic’ and ambisonic sound work. Steven has pioneered several key developments in VR sound, producing the first ambisonic mix for Cinema in 2012 for Digital Cinema Media and ‘Ben & Jerry’s’ Ice-cream.

Steven has designed and built a full sphere ambisonic studio in Hackney Wick, East London, with 31 Genelec satellite speakers, and 4 subs. The most ambitious commercial high-resolution VR sound studio the UK has to date.

He can record live music ambisonically and last year recorded Conductor Peter Fender’s’ Orchestra at St James’s in London. He has an impressive collection of VR microphones for capturing spatial sounds.

Steven has co-produced and written music with Andrew Weatherall and the ’Two Lone Swordsmen’ as well as crafting remixes for ‘Primal Scream’, ‘Manic Street Preachers’, ‘David Holmes’, ‘Doves’ ‘and ‘Siouxsie Sioux’.
